My Friends at A-10 Contracting are a premier construction company specializing in residential projects. They needed a website that reflected their commitment to quality and professionalism.
The Challenge
Integrating a detailed about page that effectively displayed the range of A-10's work without overwhelming the user. Additionally, the website needed to balance aesthetics with functionality to provide a seamless user experience.
- Split Structure: The "About" page was divided into three distinct sections to showcase the company’s history, values, and services without overwhelming the user.
- Focused Content: Each page focused on a specific aspect of A-10's work, making the content easier to digest and navigate.
- Visual Balance: High-quality web optimized images and concise text were used to maintain aesthetic appeal while delivering essential information.
- A structured content management system to easily add and update content by AutoEntry's content editors.
The objective was to create a modern, user-friendly website that showcased their work, highlighted their services, and provided an easy way for clients to get in touch.
Design Approach
I focused on a clean, professional design with intuitive navigation. The site was built on Webflow, ensuring responsiveness across all devices. High-quality images of A-10’s projects were used to highlight their expertise.
For the A-10 Contracting website, I went with TWO Fonts.
Helvetica was chosen for body text due to its clean, modern, and highly readable characteristics, making it ideal for conveying information clearly across different devices. Acier was used for headings to add a distinctive and bold look, complementing the strong visual identity of the brand. The combination of Helvetica’s simplicity with Acier’s striking appearance creates a balanced and professional aesthetic, ensuring that important content stands out while maintaining overall readability.
The color palette was carefully selected to reflect the brand's professionalism and boldness.
The combination of orange, black, and white creates a dynamic and modern look, with orange used to highlight key elements, black providing a strong contrast for readability, and white ensuring a clean, uncluttered design. This palette not only enhances the visual appeal but also reinforces the brand identity, making the website both inviting and easy to navigate.
The marquee on the website highlights key strengths in a dynamic, eye-catching way, ensuring visitors quickly grasp what sets A-10 Contracting apart. This scrolling effect keeps the content engaging and emphasizes the company's commitment to quality and innovation.
